Summer on the Mountain

Summer is that much anticipated time of the year that we like to be outdoors enjoying the beautiful warm weather. The Top of the Green Restaurant at Apple Mountain Golf & CC is one of the few places that you can enjoy eating outdoors and view the lush greenery of one of the most scenic golf courses in the New Jersey Skylands Region. The restaurant is open to the public as is the golf course and features a full schedule of summer eating pleasures. Lunch is served daily from 11:30 - closing and dinners are served Tuesday thru Saturday 4 PM to closing and Sundays 1 to 8:30 PM. deck_umbrellas_307x230.jpg

The new summer menu features a great variety of delicious items to satisfy every taste. The Appetizers include the Bloody Mary Shrimp Cocktail and the Fried Calamari Aioli and they will awaken your taste buds for something very special such as Chef Barry's Veal Saltimbocca, Hollandaise Glazed Seafood Crepes or Pan Seared Yellowfin Tuna. The Porterhouse Pork Chop and The BBQ Baby Back Ribs are always a crowd pleaser . Chicken, Seafood , Veal, Steaks and Pastas complete the Entrée Menu. Early Birds can dine Tuesday - Saturday 4 - 6 PM and Sundays 1 - 6 PM $10.95 includes soup or salad, entrée and potato, vegetable and rolls.

If you’re in the mood for something on the lighter side our selection of Salad Platters will hit the spot . . . The Sesame Crusted Salmon over Spinach tossed with White Vinaigrette is the ‘People’s Choice’, and the Tavern Salad featuring Smoked Salmon and Chicken Ceasar top the favorites list.

The Top of the Green is noted for its Prime Rib ‘as good as it gets’ the Star Ledger review ‘Eating Out’ August 13, 2004. Thursdays & Sundays are Prime Rib Dinner Special offering 8 oz. $9.95, 12 oz. $13.95 and a full lb. $16.95.

Every Friday at 5PM features the 'Awesome' Seafood Raw Bar and Happy Hour on the deck and at the bar. Fresh items every week include oysters and clams on the half shell, peel your own shrimp, Snow Crab Legs, Sushi and the freshest available ‘catches of the day’ $4.95 most items or you can try the Marine Platter - combination of any 4 items for $15.95
